Ingredients
Raw Mango | - 1 medium, cut into small pieces |
Grated Coconut | - 1/4 Cup |
Dry Red Chilies | - 2 |
Shallots | - 2 |
Salt | - to taste (1/4 tsp in my case) |
Method
1. Roast shallots and grated coconut in a pan till it become golden colour.
2. To the same pan add dry red chillies and roast for 1-2 minutes. Take care not to burn chillies.
3. Grind together raw mango pieces, roasted ingredients and salt.
4. Add 1/2 tsp coconut oil to the grinded paste.(optional)
5. Chuttaracha manga chammanthi is ready :)
Serve with Kanji or Rice.
NOTE: 1 cup roughly measures to 100 ml
